The Perfect Spots to Watch the Super Bowl

February 2, 2017

The Super Bowl has been more exciting every year, and not just because of the half time show -- the play on the field is more competitive than ever. To catch the game around PORT45 and cheer on the Patriots, here are several local spots for prime viewing.

40 W. 3rd St., South Boston

Featuring comfort food from around the globe, this lively joint is a spacious, vintage industrial warehouse. There's even two food trucks - indoors! Catch the big game on huge project screens throughout the venue. Special food offerings include chili mac and cheese, ribs, and other hearty fare.

443 W. Broadway, South Boston

Two large rooms featuring 19th-century décor set the stage for pizza, pastas and other Italian favorites. Watch the game with full surround sound in the back room on a giant screen.

La Casa de Pedro

505 Congress St., Seaport

Fine Latin family food served with fun and high spirits. Chef and owner Pedro Alarcón offers simple dishes made from scratch. For game day, dig in to $2 tapas and $1 oysters.

TAMO Bistro and Bar

1 Seaport Lane, Seaport

Right in the middle of the active Seaport District, TAMO is a local favorite featuring contemporary cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails. For the Super Bowl, they haul in extra screens for easy viewing, and whip up a game-day cocktail known as the "The GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Mule."

We can't guarantee the Pats will appear in the Super Bowl every year, but one thing is for sure: The big game has become a national holiday. Check out the spots we've listed here where you can meet up with family and friends to celebrate.
